Hi all,
Has anyone succesfully had one of these IQ3 dash displays streaming from the syvecs, or know if its easily possible?
I'm looking at doing away with the standard dash, and came across this.
Thanks,
Michael.

Re: Racepak IQ3 and the syvecs.
Michael,
Looking at the website to see what protocols they support (here) there doesn't appear to be anything that will accept either an RS232 STACK stream or indeed our Custom CAN stream. We'de be happy enough to supply details of both to Racepak if they want to support these streams; it would make sense for them to add at least the STACK stream since that's pretty much industry standard, although it doesn't carry as much information as our Custom CAN protocol.
Hope this helps,
Pat.

The Race Technology DASH2 is a nice alternative that works well with the canbus adapter

Hello,
I'm planning on running a Syvecs S12 ECU in my 190E V12 and would like to use the Haltech IQ3S dash, which I already have.

The dash supports the Life F88, so is there a way to get it working with the Syvecs ECU?
Greetings
Markus

Hi Markus,
Same here, Using a Syvecs S6 and a IQ3 dash Haltech dash. I bought the universal EFI module which is connected to the Syvecs Can hi and lo connection.
I've setup the universal can module to Liferacing F88 and had some readouts from the ECU, But it doesnt show any info on the IQ3 dash.
Very strange.. Tomorrow, my tuner is going to dyno the car and after that, we going to try to setup the custom CAN channels to make it talk with the IQ3 dash. At least, i hope it works
Ill try to make updates here about the progress of it.
Cheers,
Renzo

Re: Racepak IQ3 and the syvecs.
Well, it works!
I have the Racepak IQ3, in combination with the Universal EFI module connected to a S6 PnP MY05 ECU.
* Set the CANdatastream on Custom and standard Frame settings as is.
* You need to setup the Universal EFI module as a Liferacing F88 module.
Connect the EFI module with the Vnet towards your IQ3 dash, and start DatalinkII.
After doing that, Open new Car configuration.
Hit the read button and it will scan all available EFI channels.
From there on you can conigure everything you want.
I've mine no working, will add some pictures later-on, but one issue, I want to see my TPS, but its not working correctly.
Other thing is the MAP sensor, The IQ# reads it in Absolute pressure Mbar. If iIput this on the dash, it shows already 1 bar (offcourse its absolute right)
So 1 bar of boost, means 2 bar absolute, how to re calibrate this , that the start value will be minus on idle and climbing when making boost?
Maybe somebody has a clue on these two items and can help me or advice with some tips and tricks.
Cheers,
Renzo
