Load base file
Hi I have just got my syvecs at for my focus st mk2 I have been sent a base file to load on but when I look at the software version it's 1.57 but the generic file on the ecu is 1.69 can I just load my base file on to the way or do I need to do something first before I click file then load many thanks

If the base map you have is 1.57, then the easiest thing for you to do to get running, is to flash he 1.57 firmware into the ecu which will allow you to load the file easily.
For you to upgrade to a newer firmware using that base map will be less novice/DIY friendly as it is more involved.
1.57 firmware can be found here near the bottom of the thread

Download the file to your laptop, hook up to the ecu and run/open the file. You'll be asked to enter the serial number of the ecu you wish to flash. Do this and follow instructions.
It'll only take a few seconds.
