Hello all,
Just in the planning stages of a little project at the moment which uses up all input channels of a S6GP but leaves me wanting a couple of extra switched input signals and an extra 0-5v.
I was just wondering if anyone knew whether the D5 dash inputs can be sent over CAN to the ECU?
Say for example, an anti lag toggle switch on the dash, switching into the dash to enable/disable in the ECU.
Will save the addition of an I/O expansion module if so!
Cheers.

I cant answer the question, but I did find this manual online, maybe it can offer some info.

Also, hopefully the new S6Plus will be out soon which will add some inputs and outputs to the S6 platform, and from what I understand, the current S6's can be upgraded to S6Plus ( although it will also involve new ecu connectors in the more common Motec/Link/Haltech/DTA style tyco type connector )
But out of the 12 Cal SW options, you could enable/disable ALS on any number of those which still gives quite a few options via a single ecu input

Well, after a quick email to Charlie this morning - it looks like the S6Plus will suit my needs perfectly!

Good stuff, will be looking to change myself too. S6 was always a push for me, but a damn sight cheaper than an S8Will Pedley wrote:Well, after a quick email to Charlie this morning - it looks like the S6Plus will suit my needs perfectly!
