We have a Fuelab Prodigy to install on our car and, with the new S8 firmware, started to think about removing the FPR and return line from the system and use the ECU to control the fuel pump pressure on a closed loop system. Can we use a fuel or ignition output from the s8 to control directly the fuel pump speed? Also, i believe that such a system will have to work with constant fuel rail pressure, am i right? Can we use one set of id2000 at 3 bar to do about 700 HP on a gt40?
Cheers
Closed Loop with Fuelab Prodigy
Re: Closed Loop with Fuelab Prodigy
Yes it should be fine, there is a PWM strategy to do just that.
