Thought I'd introduce myself before I start asking for help
.My name is Tim and I own a v3 Sti that I bought with a knocking bottom end.
Original intention was to replace with a v8 Sti short engine and get me back on the road in my second gc8.
As is usual in these cases I decided to do 'a few more bits' while it is off the road and that has led to my current situation.
Now I'm new to syvecs and have a very basic understanding of 'mapping' so I'm looking to learn as I go along and have previously used power fc and ecuflash/evoscan on my last impreza and evo 6.
Most of what I have read on here so far(mainly posts by pat which seem quite in depth)has gone straight over my head and I'd really like to be able to understand such posts in the future
