AVCS Wiring S6 PnP

Hi,

I am about to do the avcs wiring for the STi8 JDM heads but i have some questions, should i use shielded cables from the sensors to the ecu? What diodes should i use for the solenoids?

Yes...and 3A or 5A schottky diodes. I use SB560, Pat uses 1N5822 but either will be fine.

Nope! They are logic-level drivers designed for ignitors.

INJ or AUX outputss. You may be able to get external widgets to convert the low current logic/ignition drivers to something that will drive solenoids...not sure, as I've never looked!

You could use an ignition amp no problem, they are afterall designed to drive coils!
