Hi guys, can the Bosch LSU4.9 be wired inn and used on the S8.
I usually use the NTK L2H2 but the new Bosch is cheaper and have quite a wide range of operation.
Thanks

Interface is different so not advisable.
if you want to use the LSU, then you could look at the S6GP+, or an S6 with an I/O expander that has the LSU support built in (S8 with expander is probably too expensive).

Thanks guys but are you sure because I have downloaded the S8 wiring/pinouts guide from website and it says that it can be used.
I have sent an email to Ryan to be sure.
On manual it says that solder bridges need to be changed in order to make different sensors to work.
I will let you know when I have an answer.

Indeed it does say that, along with wiring pins etc. It doesnt look like a mistake ?HondaDrag wrote:http://www.syvecs.co.uk/support/product ... d-pinouts/

Re: Bosch LSU4.9 on S8
I know the S6 doesn't support the LSU but it does indeed look like the S8 supports them

Re: Bosch LSU4.9 on S8
Ryan confirmed that the LSU 4.9 can be used on the S8
This is his repy
"The Bosch LSU can be used with the S8 but the heater control is not as
good as the S6Plus which means the life span is a little shorter but its
never become an issue for anyone, some clients have been doing this for
years"
Great news as i prefer to use the LSU4.9....faster response, wide range of operation and cheaper to replace especially when used on leaded racing fuels
