Ok update, problem is back, Im getting a cam error and long tooth gap. Ive tried altering the High and low trigger thresholds but it still persists. Originally the thresholds for high and low cam sensor were 3.5v and 0.5v
The first log file 15-17-16 is with the syc log, I had the high and low thresholds at 3v and 0v
The second log the thresholds were at 2.7v and 0v.
Ive also replaced the cam sensor for a new one but havnt any logs from fitting this yet and Ive went back to 3.5v high and 0.5v low.
Can someone explain the sync log please?

This sync error file goes with the earlier log and is a higher hz rate

Re: Eop trip, sync fault
No idea if the synclog is affected by the input filter.
But keep the input filters off.
And whilst not a perfect solution you could choose to ignore the cam once running

Re: Eop trip, sync fault
Ill try switching the filter off and see what happens, when I switched off all the filters the other day as you suggested it reved freely but still went out of sync at high rpm and splutered at 5000 rpm, when I switched the cam filter on it reved through to red line but then the problem came back after a couple of days.stevieturbo wrote:No idea if the synclog is affected by the input filter.

Ive since changed the cam sensor on friday for a new item and its been ok, a couple of sync errors but its been reving to red line. It may have been a intermitent fault on the cam sensor. Cheers
