Re: Crimpers for S6Plus
There have been many discussions on this elsewhere
Other sources report this T-10 crimper works very well, and can produce an almost round crimp.

MSEL who sell your stuff in NZ also sell the same T-10

The "correct" tool is an absolute fortune.
There is another Knipex option with separate jaws sold by some Motec agents, but it's also around £150-200 complete

And FWIW, Waytek in the US say this crimper is also suitable, it' s a bigger heavier duty item

Re: Crimpers for S6Plus
I'm using the one Ryan has suggested and it works very well.
I'm not sure about S6+ terminals but I have used this for many ATX terminals.

Re: Crimpers for S6Plus
Not tried any of the above, but if you're looking for a tool be aware that the S6GP+ pins are Superseal 1.0 not 1.5 - many tools are for the 1.5 not the 1.0

Re: Crimpers for S6Plus
It's the same as Motec, DTA, Haltech, Link, ViPec etc etc
The T-10 crimper I listed is tried and tested on other forums, the weatherpack one was one of the big American wirng loom suppliers told me it is suitable for the same pins.
I think as long as you're using small wire, choice of crimp tool is less critical, as is the case if you dont need to retain the waterproof seal part of the connector which is a tight fit.
But a proper round crimp would be best vs the normal W style crimp.
When I made my DTA loom years ago, I just squeezed them up with pliers and soldered. It was messy, but for most wires it worked ok and they fitted the connectors.
I'll redo them all when I change to the S6plus ( unless I can scrounge enough for an S8 lol )
