traction control setup

Post by Gpro »

I am about to purchase a syvecs s6 gp ecu for a mkiv supra, I have been looking at the s6 pinout and see front left and rear left speed sensors but don't see any for the right front and right rear, How would i wire it up? also i assume i tap in to the abs ecu speed sensors correct?

You will need to use analogue inputs 1-8 for measuring any frequency/speed/time like crank, cam or wheel speed.

From memory the Supra setup only has 2 inputs free that are not compatible with the OEM speed inputs so you will need to use a converter module to tap into the OEM ABS sensors as discussed here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=553

Ryan will know more on the exact setup of the Supra harness.

Just confirmed it, i only need to use front left and rear left to get traction control to work on a supra.

Just a quick question without making a new thread what is CTL-XXX on scal io configuration?

"CTL-XXX" is a historic reference to something I have never worked out ans, as far as I know, is completely irrelevant lol. Ignore them :)

There is a cross reference of "AN" to the "AB/AV/AR/AU" naming on the Syvecs website here.

ctl-xxx refers to the pin on the control board.
