Hi All
I'm going to change my ecu on my v3 type r , were i have put in a newagde 2001 jdm sti complete engine
And i depating with myself if its better to get a plugin for the v3 impreza or to get a wire in s6
I have the ign cops together with avcs feedback sensors and and avcs solenoids wired in a seperat wiring loom
So if i get a v3 plugin i need to Cut into the wiring , were if i get a wirein i Can make a loom adaptor and therefore not needing to Cut into the wiring
What would you guys suggest ?
Thanks

If you use a GP, you will have maybe 60 wires to connect, whereas with a PnP you will have to cut and splice less than a dozen.
Also, if you're starting with an OEM loom and go GP you have to identify all the wires before you even consider putting crimps on for the GP.
On balance, I think I would go for the PnP - cutting/splicing your new wires is not very time consuming and can be done most neatly with a soldering iron and heatshrink tubing - try and avoid scotchlok connectors or similar as it all ends up quite messy.

Yes maybe that is the Way forward ,
I Will check the pinout for the pnp v3 to see what pins are used
Thanks
