base map 2.0 tfsi

if i want an base map, should i go directly to syvecs or is it through the dealer?
just got my new PnP kit and going to install it this week.

and should i put the new ecu at the stock Place? or should i try put it inside of the car.

I would think the base kit should already have that base map installed ?

If not it can certainly do no harm to contact both the dealer and/or support. If the dealer has done many conversions they may have a few more file options.

Ive sent an mail to sopport now,lets see what they say.
The tfsi scene is pretty small in sweden, wonder if there is more syvecs tfsi users in sweden

can i ask something more?

if i have bt module...is mapswitching possible thru ipad/Android? and is it plug and play or do i need sensor pack etc?

I believe the BT module still switches via an analogue input to the ecu, although it is remotely switched from the bluetooth device. So it does still use up an input.

To be honest, the simplicity and surety of the round dial knob...is hard to beat.
