Can anyone tell me what the function of the "Playback" menu item is in SCal, in the Device menu?

According to the manual it's to: "Playback recorded calibration adjustments (engine dyno use)"

Anyone got a practical example of how it’s used? I’d like to be able to play back a run on scal to and watch the system move across the various tables / maps.
