strange fueling blip

Post by Gary2304 »

hi everyone i am new to this forum so please be gentle with me if i dont explain this technically correct.

ive got a subaru sti with a 2.35 stroker using a owen developments gbt69/82 turbo which should be good for 660bhp at least with the spec ive got.

the ecu is a plug and play S6

1. car makes 400bhp at one bar which is actuator pressure
2. strange blip in fueling between 5-5.5k goes lean then rich and then straight line as before ,it does this at no matter what boost pressure you turn the car up to be it 1bar or 1.8 bar.
3.we cant get anymore than 460bhp out of the car not matter what boost we run or ignition advance etc

ive tried to explain this as best as i can .

does it make any sense to anyone ?

your help and advice would be appreciated.

And what does your tuner suggest ?

Datalogs of this ? and/or Cal file ?

Are you saying the anomaly always happens at 5000-5500rpm regardless of everything else ?

Power on any given dyno vs power hoped for....harder to explain.

Are you saying it basically makes same power at 1 bar as 1.8 ? Any air leaks ? or w/g leaks ? restrictions in intake, intercooler ? etc etc

Again, what is your tuner suggesting based on what he has seen during tuning ? Has the engine been built correctly ? Does boost and power delivery behave as expected ?
