VVT Fail help

Hi everyone,
We have a Syvecs S-GDI PnP kit on a MK7 Fiesta ST180 1.6 Ecoboost but having issues with the VVT.
We had a base file supplied with the ECU that seems to have everything there for working VVT, however as soon as we go above the 2500rpm activation for the VVT we immediately get limp mode for 'VVT Fail'
We've tried replacing the solenoids but is there a way to see exactly what is being tripped to bring the limp mode on? Or anybody have working VVT settings that I could check against ours please?
