Boost control

Post by gctech »

Hello Guys

Im having a boost target issue on e85 , I though that when running E85 MAP Target 1 becomes petrol and MAP Target 2 E85 , for some reason probably something im skipping is not blending Im running 73% E and I set blend to 100% in that cell yet MAP Target 2 still shows MAP Target 1
I attached data log and current Calibration , IDK what what happened it was working correct before I did latest FW update
I notice my WGMAPTARGETMAX 1 is 2700mBar WGMAPTARGETMAX 2 is at 3200 but on the log is capping at 2650mBar
isnt wgmaptargetmax 1 is for 93 and wgmaptargetmax 2 also E85 dependent?

Thanks

Honestly no idea, I've never used the blend options.

Any time I've used ethanol ( not often ), I've just used simple fuel and spark corrections based on content to keep it very simple.

The whole way they change from 4 maps to a pair of blended maps sounds nice, but equally a bit messy when map labelling does not change when flex fuel is enabled to highlight this massive change in operation.

Certainly it looks like from 70% content on you should be running entirely on that "second" max manifold press target table 2 now for ethanol. But I've just never used it myself to say for sure.
