WB possible failure

Post by gctech »

Hello Guys ,

I attached a datalog in which the WB sensor does some random dips , but does not do it all the time , I can make a run and be clean then the following run will dip rich and the fuel pressure will drop some time triggering a FP Trip

thanks

Everywhere in that log it looks to be working ?

Exactly where do you believe it is not on that log ?

Although fuel pressure does seem a bit odd. What engine is this ? A normal port injection or is there direct injection too ?

If normal port injection, your base fuel pressure of around 5 bar a little high, but fuel pressure increases far more than 1:1 with boost. Normally on a port injected boost referenced setup relFP1 should be a fairly static value, yours is all over the place.

If it's direct injection, it's not something I've any experience on. Although I do see a FP target and your FP does seem to track that well, so presumably it's ok ?

But Lam1 seems to be reading at all times, no actual drop outs, the line is smooth etc and seems reasonable numbers ?

Only after seeing your post on FB...

I see the areas now you refer to. Does look odd...although also why is FP dropping too ?

Could be an electrical gremlin of some sort. Fuel final does drop too in response to thinking it is rich.
