Using the controller without CAN

Post by xr4x4ti »

Hello,

I have been using the controller with pretty good success and I am pretty happy with it. I am using it in my AWD 2017 Mustang Project.

I have received quite a few questions on my videos about the controller and I am working on a new video that will go into some detail about it.

I get questions about using it on different cars, especially Dodge Chargers of course since that is the Tcase I am using.

My question, is that currently the AWD controller required an engine RPM signal to work. As far as I can tell, the only way to provide the RPM signal is via CAN. What if somebody wants to use it without CAN? Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance,
Tim
