Please excuse lack of updates been busy getting the new instruments sorted, have an Omega which is twin channel doubles as a simulator and a meter to validate the ETI listed earlier. Anyway been doing some testing on the KT8 Syvecs module and after some analysis here is what we found :ugeek:
for what it is we can say its proven now to be very accurate
TC1-U13 V Omega error range in deg C

Yeah.

The fine wire was used to exhibit the thermal mass effects with regards to accuracy and response.

More probing action
The latest iteration caters to those who are fitting to 5" + exhaust systems and want to reach further in to pipe velocity and temperature streams.

We have some really good back to back information which I am collating now and will put up to show just how donmega my probes are v's the 'best rated/claimed' ones.

cyl 1-6 are with mine and the TIT is about 60mm down stream before the inlet of the turbo.
The other makers probe was moved into the dump pipe for TET.

For pre turbine the Delta is over 100 deg C between the sensors, showing why the types you use is important.

Here you go, look between #1 #2 and you will see where the TIT is located ~50mm away down stream but look at the difference ~100 deg C!
wonder why you are melting your turbine?

And here is the first iteration of cylinder balance, please note for newbies it has absolutely nothing to do with making the temperatures equal

This is the first iteration and once all cylinders are tuned you can then run it at 1.300 Lambda and idle smooth, cause all of them are making much closer levels of torque contribution thus the smoothness ;)

Only achievable with RR donmega probes :)
p.s. Customer could not believe how much more refined engine felt and no hesitation on mixture test running at 19:1 AFR petrol scale on port injection !
