Re the fuel cuts triggering "false knock"; are you certain it's false? Just with you saying it's on sequential injection, if the outputs are at all mixed up there's the chance you are giving certain cylinders half a dose (or whatever the split is) of juice is all. Hopefully it's not that, ...
