Re: Bosch LSU4.9 on S8
Thanks guys but are you sure because I have downloaded the S8 wiring/pinouts guide from website and it says that it can be used. I have sent an email to Ryan to be sure. On manual it says that solder bridges need to be changed in order to make different sensors to work. I will let you know when I h...

Re: Output Testing.
I did test one output the other week, 1.67 as mentioned in the other thread about the fan I/O testing is green and as such does not need to be D/P before operational. I think after when I saved and D/P'd I go the same error, but it's because the ecu doesnt want the engine to run whilst in test mode....

Re: Map & Traction settings saved?
It would be one or the other, as ultimately both connect to the analogue voltage inputs on the ecu for control. Personally I like a switch I can see and change quickly at any time without a second thought and you'll always know what it is set at. Tim's Cal switch with the numbered rotary dial make t...

Re: Output pin names, have they changed?
Pressure across the injectors should remain fairly constant though ? So shouldnt matter ?jezzpalmer wrote:That's great, thanks for confirming.
I'll update my docs.
I'd expect the injector current draw to increase at higher absolute fuel pressures, but not sure if it's linear or not.

Re: worksheets
You can delete/rename them by selecting Manage worksheets then choose and delete
No idea on re-positioning them
In Sview, just scroll down the Worksheet tab with the cursors and when the one you want to delete is highlighted, press the delete key on the keyboard.

Re: Output pin names, have they changed?
I need to go back to 1.50 for it to have the old numbers, all newer versions say FUEL instead of PWM/CTL TBH I did notice a change in the software when I did the output test yesterday, mainly noticing it was easier to correlate the two from I/O config to the output I tested But never though much as ...

Re: Output pin names, have they changed?
Funny...I'm on 1.67 and havent looked at this for a long time.
but noticed today my fan wasnt working and checked I/O to do an output test. And it's as you're describing, it just said Fuel12

Re: Raspberry Pi ? logger ?
If it could be done cheaply, sort of keen.
Although as said, I wouldnt have a clue where to start with it myself and to be practical it would need to be fully automated

Raspberry Pi ? logger ?
I know sweet FA about such things....
But they are a small computer ? Is there any way one of these could be used with SData...to create a cheap standalone logger that could always receive and record streamed data from the memory limited S6's ?

Software versions ?
Is there any logic to these ? I tried to import some workbooks on Sview from my home computer to a friends. Both have the latest software installed from this forum, ie dated 11/07/16 On Sview my home computer lists version 2.15.21 My friends computer stated 2.15.5, it would not import the workbook f...
