Does this mean it can be used alongside an X10 now and still leave the CAN output useful for a dash?
Sounding good this Tim

Re: Ignition Advance When Knock Control Active
Have you turned (m)any into hand grenades during the initial setting up of your knock control strategy? I've always heard that the rotary is very easily upset by any knock, so would be interesting to hear how you go about dialing the knock sensing in in a properly "safe" manner. That Mazda...

Re: Output Current Limits
Is it perhaps that they are actually never told to turn off specifically? Do you have an "engine enable" input configured on the ecu, or do you just kill power to it? If it's a power killer, do you kill the coils / injectors (engine stopped) before killing the main power to the ecu? That a...

Re: Yaw or Lat G for FWD traction control
What do you use with yours?
I'm thinking Lat G currently, but am going to use one of the Bosch sensors that has both Yaw and LAT G in one unit so I can try either.
Be nice to know from some other fwd guys what they have ended up using

Yaw or Lat G for FWD traction control
I've been pondering the sensors I'm going to need for my car recently and am looking for some advice on what the best sensor would be for varying the TC slip% on a FWD car? I know that Yaw is listed as being the recommended sensor, which seems perfect in a RWD application, but I'm not so sure on FWD...

Re: Flat Foot Shift RPM
Wow, that's cheap, thanks for sharing those little gems!
I see what you mean on the threads. They have a 7/16"-20 with 45* flare listed in the datasheet, I wonder if RS can provide the full range of them?
Thanks again for all your help here buddy, I'll definitely be giving this a go now

Re: DBW Wiring/config
Could you perhaps disable the output to drive the throttle in the software, so it's not driven at all, then manually hold the throttle shut, record / enter values, open to where you deem full is, record / enter values. Then once this is done activate the output(s) Not sure I follow the battery bit f...

Re: Flat Foot Shift RPM
Brilliant, thanks for sharing that buddy that shows it perfectly. That's a lot more consistent than I thought it would be too, to be fair. The 2-1 being much slower than the 1-2 and 2-3 are still all within a reasonable range regarding peak pressures, I'm liking this idea again now. Interesting on t...

Re: Flat Foot Shift RPM
Stevie, I was thinking of the same thing regarding the pressure sensor in the clutch line, how well does it work? Do you have a log of a full clutch displacement vs pressure? I'm interested to see how non linear it is to displacement. I understand that you probably won't have a log with actual displ...
