Pinout Troubles

I'm having a bit of trouble with the pinout info spreadsheet and I'm wondering if someone could give me a clue here. I'll give a brief example so that it can be easy to point out where I'm getting mixed up... Pin 1 on my Syvecs is Injector 1. Pin 24 on my Syvecs is Injector 2. In SCAL I go down to P...

Re: Throttle calibration

With the above help I have an idea what I'm doing now. The problem is...that too can be a dangerous thing. As the manuals say, they do expect some level of competence from the reader in order to make use of them. To be fair I am trying to gain competence. I'm an Engineer by trade, I was a calibrato...

Re: Throttle calibration

If you want someone like me to sit here and write what you need it's hours of work and I do this for a living. Do you even know how to use the software? Have you read the basic manual? You will need to know how to add gauges to check values, or go into the sensor menu. Seriously if you want this do...

Re: Throttle calibration

Here's a really crappy video showing how to set the TPS. This is only one aspect however, there are various settings within the map itself that relate to the base open/closed values too which will need looked at. You dont have to use the specific values Ive used, that's entirely up to whoever will ...

Re: Throttle calibration

Right friendly bunch here eh. I would happily give all information required..... if I knew what information to give in the first place. I could sit and detail every little thing on the car, but that would be like writing war and peace when the information could be completely useless. Feel free not t...

Re: Throttle calibration

It's all rather basic stuff and it all needs to work before mapping. Does your TPS sensor work? If it doesn't, that will cause the problem. Do all your sensors work? This is something for YOU to check. TPS, MAP, ECT are the main ones. Why isn't your wideband installed or connected to the ECU? Do no...

Re: Throttle calibration

Fuel map. Is this something my mapper will have to sort then? As I'm between a rock and a hard place. If I can't get any revs at all then I can't get the car closer to the house to get a wireless signal in order for him to start mapping it. The AFR doesn't seem to rise or fall when I press the acce...

Re: What pins should I use?

Thanks for your help, I've PM'd you. Pretty sure it's just the pins I need as Ryan sent all the gubbins for the plug at the sensor end :)

Re: What pins should I use?

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I bought the recommended wideband sensor from Ryan and he said I would need some pins to wire it into the ecu. I have no idea which pins I require or where to buy them lol. He did mention that he was going to send some out but I thought I would ask the question t...
