Re: AFR oscillations at idle that stabalise when fans turn on

The 3d table for service interval is not directly related to transport delay, you've been looking at too many MoTeC webinars! I've not seen any of the MoTeC webinars, I was referring the 1.25 firmware release notes as below. // Cll service time calibration Allows users now to adjust Service time of...

Re: AFR oscillations at idle that stabalise when fans turn on

Thanks all for your advice and comments. Sorry for the delayed reply - in the midst of selling our house and moving and all the madness that entails so not had a chance to respond until now. Changing to version 1.25 of the firmware and substantially increasing the closed loop transport delay in the ...

AFR oscillations at idle that stabalise when fans turn on

I have AFR oscillations at idle. These seem to disappear and AFR completely stabalises every time the coolant temp reaches the threshold and the fans kick in. When the fans turn off, AFR's start to bounce about again. I would like to have the nice stable idle all the time ... so if anyone can diagno...

Defi Oil and Fuel Pressure Sensor Wires

I am wanting to tap my defi fuel and oil pressure sensor wires and feed those to the S6Pnp. I've got Red, Black and White wires on both the Oil and Fuel Pressure sensors. Can anyone please tell me which of the three is the sensor wire?

Cheers

Re: NTK L2H2 New Linearisation

Hi All,

The linearisation you posted is certainly very close .... however I did notice some oddities in the values between 10 and 11 AFR (not that we are likely to be running this rich most of the time, but worth being aware of).

Cheers

Re: Injection End Angle

Here is a small excerpt from a scientific paper looking at the effect of injection time. I can't see the whole paper, but the abstract seems to indicate that injecting onto a closed inlet valve has benefits.

Re: Injection End Angle

Here is an interesting thread on the Motec site discussing injection timing:

Re: closed loop lambda problem

Do you have target values set in your closed loop base target map for the idle area. Any cells set to zero in this table would still cause the car to run in open loop in those cells. Have you checked the Base Closed Loop Lambda Target Select setting under Calibration Switches, to confirm which base ...
