Re: Connection to Plex

Good info from all,
Just to be clear. I connected the Plex to the I/O since I did not know or was not aware that it could be connected to the S6 since I had the I/O already slaved. I do need or want the GPS data sent to the S6. I am just trying to figure out the correct way.
1. I did contact Plex about this and after the correspondence I was told it should work. Still waiting to hear back from them.
2. I have updated the firmware of the plex and downloaded the Syvec set up. ( disappointed that it does not have the Syvec pages as what you see on the web site.) I have requested this config from Plex but no answer. The plex SDM should come loaded with that in my mind.
3. I have configured the S6 per the plex instructions on the datastream set up. I did that first in the attempt for connection on arrival of the dash.
4. Once custom CAN is selected in the Scal datastream the same error appears ( only 1 CAN connection allowed), this happens if the CAN is connected or disconnected. I tried connecting to the I/O port with and without a termination resistor, Tried connecting the CAN to the S6 side with or with out resistor, before and after the resistor to the I/O port. Basically every configuration I could think of. Also I do not have a screen shot but if I select any of the LR data to be streamed the error comes up as not allowed.
So far I am pretty bummed out about the whole thing. The only reason I purchased the Plex SDM was to utilize the GPS to send to S6 for traction control, control the Cal switches and turn the ALS and launch control on or off with the joy pad. If I can not use all of those it is basically useless for my application.
