Today i tried to update my firmware from 1.13 to 1.50. I downloaded and installed the actual mapping software 2.13.55 and also downloaded the firmware .exe File for the 1.50 version. But after i startet the firmware .exe i got this message in a dos window:

Ready to program S6 firmware release 1.50.2
ERROR COMMUNICATING WITH SERVER
press space to exit

Also a reboot dont help to solve the problem. Tried this on my laptop and my desktop pc. Both with the same result. Both PCs run Win7 pro 64bit.

Do anyone know this problem?

Are you sure you're ecu is powered up and connected to the laptop ok ?

Yes ecu was powered up and connected. If i opened the s6cal i could use the ecu normal programm it etc. But the firmware .exe dont work.

Maybe some antivirus software blocking it ?

Firewall and anti virus was disabled.

Seems the program has a problem to join the snet server.

Maybe try flashing an older firmware version to see if that works ?

tried also version 1.46 and 1.42. At every exe file the same message.

dont have any idea yet, but hey managed to get the laptop from a friend and with it it works normal.
