Hi folks, been a while since I last visited the forum but hopefully THIS year will see S8 purchased!!

I've gone and bought a MOTEC PDM30 and would like to confirm that the S8 and PDM will be able to communicate with each other over CAN?

Is it possible for the S8 to log data from the PDM??? As an example, my water/meth pump will be connected to PDM and I was wondering if it would be possible to log the amount of time/occurrences the PDM 'fired up' the pump? Just as an example...

PDM15 receives CAN data ok from S6 so I believe S8 will do the same with PDM30. S6 / S8 CAN data output is configurable in SCal in Datastreams / Custom Can.

I usually use rpm data to activate fuel pump(s), and water temp data to activate rad fans, and so on. Pump priming is done with PDM "pulse" function.

S8 is able to log something from incoming CAN data but I don't know much about it.
