Looking at using an S6 to run a REW motor in an RX-8.

Planning on using the S6 DBW to run the OEM throttle body, and am wondering if there is any hope in configuring the power steering unit to work?

Has anyone used this ECU on a RX-8 and have any information that would help?

I have been looking at the rest of the software and am surprised how versatile the software is, and how configurable.

Anyone see any problems with this usage? Ryan has provided a base map of sorts....it has some of the ign setup information on it.....I would love to see a more complete cal file if anyone was willing to share ( would be held in strict confidence)

sorry that noone has picked this thread up but it is simply as a consequence of the fact that there aren't any twirlers running on S6 that I am aware of at the moment.... ergo noone can actually give you any advice on whether the Renesis engine is going to work well and indeed HOW to make it work. That being said I do believe that since it would be in Syvecs' interests to get a proven wiring schedule, we would be happy to help / work with you on this

Basically I will be running a REW engine from a 3rd Gen RX-7..but want to run the DBW stock throttle body from the RX-8 with the S6 DBW setup

I will get some particulars of the throttle and see if you have the info to make it work
