Can we use S6GP aux inputs for logging GPS receiver datas in the future? That would be very cool! 8-)

We will soon have a GPS Recieve which will not take any extra inputs up and work over CAN Bus

Any chance we will be able to pipe in other info from CAN? I have found a thermocouple amp that outputs data on CAN and would love to log this info for testing but I wont have enough inputs left on the S6 when I get to that point.

Just to check - I presume you know you have 1 thermocouple input on an S6 already?

Sorry to high jack this thread. Yes I know the S6 has one thermocouple input. However I would like to log front anslx rear egt's as well as rotor housing temperatures (with a sparkplug thermocouple). I like to log as much info as possible and if I can gain inputs via some CAN interface that would be amazing.

Have you got a link to the CANbus EGT amplifier (or the product name)? Sounds interesting :)

900 USD, cheaper than upgrading to a S8 just for a few more inputs.

PCS has EGT-2000, 8-channel CAN-bus interfacing EGT product. Price approximately 400 USD.
