Engine Cut for cartek XR

Anyone know if there is a specific input on the Syvecs S7 for engine cut?

installing a cartek XR isolator but cannot see anything obvious on the I/O's

I can see there are 3 enable switches on the inputs, whats are these for?

Looking at the documentation for the XR it provides 12v when on and that 12v is grounded when you isolate the battery, alternate is to connect another relay to fuel pumps, would rather have it direct to ecu

I've used Enable A on the S8 before, generic 0-5v input.

I used a 10ms validation time so the ecu can kill engine prior to the cartek doing it's full ground disconnect at 500ms

Stevie, thats excellent, dont suppose you have a wiring diagram for what you did? im guessing you had to relay one of the sensor 5v lines to get the 5v

Also where do you setup the validation times in the syvecs?

There is no wiring diagram.

You simply hook up the Cartek white wire to a suitable 0-5v ecu input. ( certainly S8 isn't caring that it's receiving 12v )

All the config is in the Enable A menu.

All wired up but having issues with the Syvecs config, i have the input on C13, Set the pin in IO for Engine Enable A.
Checked Overall Enable is ON, for the sensor setup though im struggling, car will start but just stop after about 5 seconds.

Can you advise if the engine kill signal is active high or low?, does it require a pull up?

Many thanks mate.

C13 is fine, it's a 5v input, and as the instructions clearly say, the Cartek outputs 12v when on. So active High.

As to whether that is your problem with car not running for more than 5s, no idea.

I would assume if engine was not enabled, it would not start or run at all.

ok, ill have another look tomorrow, thanks again.
Im also assuming there will be NO requirement for a pullup as it will already by UP from the output of the CARTEK SSR

ok this is very odd, put a meter on the cartek ecu wire, reads 12v happy, ECU reports Engine enable A as ON.
start the car and it runs for a second then Engine enable A Switches OFF, but i still have a 12v feed but its like the ECU cant see it.

If i turn the ignition off and back on its still OFF, if i change the INPUT to low, Engine enable A changes to ON, start the car ok, after a second the Engine enable A goes to OFF again and car stalls.

Dont know if this matters but this is an EVO-X PnP kit but massively modified now as its less evo than ever.
