^ above video ^ showing some current technology around heat control on exhaust system related parts, and pictures and detailed description below.
Using our own *donmega* EGT probe we check the actual combustion gas temperature on a piece of lagged piping. To see the temperature reduction a couple of fine wire Type k probes are put in various locations some touching right on the outer cover and others less than 1mm away from the surface.......... To finally give it some real work context I held my hand (try not to shake and touch the surface!) about ~20mm away from the outer cover and can be there for unlimited time (very little heat radiated).

Here is some feedback from a good customer, had these running in a VR6 turbo application which for those who know is as bad as a rotary turbo due to the nazi design head and maximum gas rape attack !

Probes perfect as day put in, unlike the pretenders who need to resort to 'open designs' which are still vastly inferior in response and true temp reading ability these don't foul or age. Proven tough/durable/reliable/accurate/fast WINNING !

ATTENTION METHANOL USERS !
  • Got near 3000bhp on 6 cylinders?
  • Want to be able to see what is happening per cylinder without needing to do 3 miles at BONERVILE land speed record trials?
  • Sick of changing inferior probes more often than you do underpants?
Contact us now for some donmega probes

When you want methanol probes that actually work, allow you to see knock, trim each cylinder effectively for safe performance then it has to be donmega

Holding many multiple thousands of horsepower can only be done for a few short seconds at a time and if you are using other types of probes then you are dreaming if you think you can actually use them to tune these types of engine, well its no longer a dream
