electronic bypass valve control strategy.

I have an SDI running on a 4cyl GDI Turbo application. In the factory configuration the bypass valve is electronically controlled, it has its on vacuum and compressor pressure reference . In certain instances the factory ECU would try and run the turbo as hard as possible and would use throttle body closures to control torque output. I would assume it could open and close the bypass valve to bleed boost if needed. Now switching to the SDI, I originally set up a 3D low side table with pedal position and map. So below 1000mbar and below 3-5% PPA the bypass will open, as much as this makes sense would anyone have a different idea on how this could work?
