Thanks mate, quite pricey pedals, can pick the vag polo ones up for £15 with a plug
Pin outs for the vw pedals il have to have a look, I guess you know the scooby ones ?
More I thought about it I don’t want to mod the pedal it’s self, spares being the main reason, I’d much rather make a mount for the pedal and then that allows me to bolt in and out a replacement track side with ease

There's a pin out for the VW pedal in DTAFasts throttle controller wiring manual;

Hopefully covers yours

Thanks,
I have ended up buying a Audi 225 TT pedal, got it with a plug, £12 posted, hopefully that works
The number on the pedal is BOSCH 0280 752 234 , the STC wiring diagram has a Bosch 0280 752 211, which has the same connector on it so im assuming its the same and the difference in part number is down to the pedal material on the TT being alloy/rubber and not all plastic like what the other number is.

Ok, so finaly home from work, got the TB sent off to the fab guy for him to figure out how to mount the huge thing onto my intake,
So i thought id try get my head around the wiering!
Have a few questions, does anyone know the pin out for the throttle body ?
going by what Tim said a few pages back M+ and M- are pins 5 and 6 respectfully, id like to think pins 2 and 3 are GND and 5v leaving pins 1 and 4 to be TPS1 and TPS2?
Sound about right ? the little butterfly between pins 3 and 4 throw me tho?

So if that is the case i have came up with this

Only real question is can the pedal 5v and signal GND's be shared like i have done ?
Thanks

I was wrong - I assumed, looking at the picture of the ETA that 5 and 6 were the motor but, actually:
1 - Motor-
2 - analogue ground
3 - +5V
4 - Motor+
5 - TPS1
6 - TPS2
Yes, 5V and analogue grounds can be shared between different devices.

just to clarify sharing the grounds for the pedal and the lives for the pedal wont be an issue?

Best practice would run separate wires back to the ECU - but since a failure of power or ground to either of the sensors will cause a DBW trip, it's a moot point whether they are fed from the same or separate power/grounds. 5V is 5V and analogue ground is analogue ground
