S7-I and S7Plus Can1 Fixed Datastream - DBC

Post by Ryan.g »

The S7-I and S7Plus Can1 Datastream is fixed so that with our plug and play kits users can't accident change items on the datastream which have a large effect on the Canbus for the Plug and Play kits.

Users can use Can2 on the S7Plus from pins B2 and B3 and this is fully programmed and can also support a I/O Expander.

If you are using a Generic ECU then the Datastream will be now as attached from Can1

The file reads OK into Kvaser Database Editor so it is probably something in the signals section that the AIM software doesn't like - perhaps one to take up with AIM since that error message isn't very helpful?

I had the same issue with Cosworth ICD. Fortunately you get a message of the error. There is an error with the compilation of the DBC file it seems. There is a space missing between the sign for Data Type (+ or-) and the Maths sector of the config as in the attached screenshot. You need to correct every channel.. Note. on line 94 on the top corrected channels you will see below the arrow the space is missing there also. so the file would fail at this point. Checked imports OK.

cheers.
