GROUND Issue?
GROUND Issue?
After looking some logs I've seen that I've some problems. The affected sensors are EGT, Lamda, Map. Not all logs shows the same but according to this log when it happens after the FAN is ON. What could be the problem?
Re: GROUND Issue?
This time no fan activity, EGT falls where it should be but this time IgnFinalPri1 dancing 24 to 16 deg.
attached some logs and calibration

Re: GROUND Issue?
Your ignition timing is swinging due to idle control.
You probably do have a ground issue though. Make sure all the main grounds on the SYvecs end up on the many wires that go to the ground eyelet on the inlet manifold on the factory engine loom.

Re: GROUND Issue?
Okay I think the only problem here is EGT sensor.
I'm checking latest logs and there is nothing wrong with Map, Lambda sensors but the EGT! The screenshots here are probably about the load differences.
Today I have changed to a new egt sensor cable but the problem is still there. When IGN ON it reads fine (lets say 30-40c deg cold engine) when I fire up the engine it goes to a stable 900 c deg. When I turn the engine off it reads fine again(say 300-400c) Annoying problem!

Re: GROUND Issue?
It's defaulting the sensor due to not seeing a high enough temp on the EGT quickly enough after starting. Look in the sensor menu for EGT and lower the threshold temp and/or increase the time period it will wait before checking.
Re: GROUND Issue?
No it doesnt matter. Really interesting.
Cold engine, IGN ON..
It starts reading from 300-320 degree.
Than goes to 200 degree slowly and suddenly it sits to 35 deg.
I'm starting the engine and it goes to stable 4 deg!
Thermokupl is just a wire not a sensor what can be wrong wtih it!

Re: GROUND Issue?
If your thermocouples are sheathed type I suspect you have been sold grounded juction type rather than isolated. Check resistance between connector pins and sheath, if there is continuity they are no good for automotive use where you have large voltage offsets accross the systems/components
