Sync Log from test drive after full rebuild - Engine trip

Hi All ,

New to the world of engine control and mapping. I spun a bearing on my mkiv big single supra back in Feb and have been rebuilding the engine since. Would rather try to get to know and understand this side of the rebuild also. I will take it to get it dyno'd and finely tuned however would like to learn and iron out most issues myself.

I've finally got the fuelling sorted enough to run however I am seeing a few issues that I believe are down to the mapping . I had the car out a test drive and the engine tripped. I don't think the car is getting enough fuel when on boost as when monitoring the AFR the gauge shows the engine changing from 12:1to 15/16 on boost ( I don't take it this far as I'm aware to lean can damage the internals ).

I'll try list some of the issues I'm seeing below in the hope that someone more Syvces technical skills and mapping knowledge may be able to point me in the right direction.

My idle is rough as toast and bounces all over the place , the minute you put it in a gear ( auto box ) it stabilizes around 1k rpm and settlesaround 12:1 afr.

As well as the idle bouncing it mimics this on the road when on the over run. From looking at the logs this seems to be after the fuel cut off has went below the hysteresis engine speed and wants to put fuel in again. It bounces and AFRS are random until I either press the brake / open the throttle or wait 5s or so.

From the logs it seems to be that the lambda always shoots up to around 1.3/1.4 when lifting off the throttle and can be seen creeping up lean the more the throttle position is open and boost is starting.

Any thoughts or comments on the above and the log would be well appreciated

Cheers ,

Ross

Another log that shows more of the idling issue.

Obviously it needs tuned.

Closed loop is trying to correct in places

The engine stopped when it hit the oil pressure trip...again, the ecu needs tuned for your setup to ensure mixtures, idle control etc are all good, and that any trips that are active will be functional on your engine without falsely activating.

In short...it needs tuned
