Re: New I/O Expander - Now Released!

Very excited about this!

A quick one, does the use of this unit preclude me from using CAN off the ecu for a display as well?

The wording on this point is a bit unclear to me.

Thanks

Re: Software versions ?

I always do a partial uninstall before upgrading, and both my PC's show version 2.15.34, using the 11/07/2016 download.

Removing LamV, and giving it 5V, does not change the reading in SCal at all (still 2.5V).

Re: BOSCH 028851132466 / NTK L1H1

Yup, you just reminded me of the behaviour I previously saw with sensor unplugged.

As said, will report back when I get to see the car again on Sunday, and can run the suggested test.

Re: BOSCH 028851132466 / NTK L1H1

Hmm...I haven't tried giving it 5V, I will try that when next I go out to the car (stored away from my house). If I unplug the sensor the voltage stays at 2.5V though...

Re: BOSCH 028851132466 / NTK L1H1

Sensor cable was replaced when I replaced the sensor. Default voltage high set to 5, default low set to 0, so they are not being tripped. Aaargh. :( I will continue using the external controller for now, and ship it back half way round the world when convenient, or if my local agent has one in stock...

Re: BOSCH 028851132466 / NTK L1H1

Thanks, I expected to see 10.7 heater voltage, but if 20 is normal that's good. Yes, the sensor is assigned as UEGO, and in IO config I have Lambda 1 set to Lambda V. This problem has been there since the ECU was fitted, I have never seen a correct reading with the sensor directly wired, hence using...

Re: BOSCH 028851132466 / NTK L1H1

I am having the same issue as the original poster. with lambda showing 2.5V at all times (lambda 1). I have an NTK LZA-09E1 supplied by Andy Forrest, connected as follows: Yellow Heater +12V +12v supply Blue Heater Drive from ECU Pin 14 Black Signal Ground to LAMGND Pin 34 Grey Nernst Cell Voltage t...

3d table for coil charge time

Hi Is it possible to have a 3rd axis for coil charge time, for load? It seems prudent to lower charge time when it is not required (low load). My request is based on the assumption that running coils at lower charge would reduce temperatures and prolong their life. The theory makes sense, although I...

Re: Tool to remove Small Micro Timer Pins of S6GP

Hi

Can someone give me the correct part number for this tool? The original link seems to lead to a different product on that site.

Thanks
