Re: Defi and Syvecs 4bar disagreement!

Just going to double check...

Edit - definitely syvecs - the 4 bar version - no markings at all - but this is it:

Re: Defi and Syvecs 4bar disagreement!

Thanks All - If the syvecs sensor is indeed OK (unfortunately I don't recall ever seeing a separate calibration sheet) then then the linearisation from the db must be out I guess - which I'm somewhat surprised by - I do note that there are two (or three) hint points that load up with the curve (stra...

Defi and Syvecs 4bar disagreement!

Now I understand that the DEFI gauges someof us know and love can be somewhat 'optimistic' in terms od boost pressures. That aside I seem to have a 'larger than expected' disagreement between Defi and Syvecs 4bar sensor: Defi - 1.3 bav Syvecs - 2100 mbar ...Giving an apparent mismatch of very around...

Re: Errant(?) lean on load - anyone had this (ever)

Thanks! That is not at all where I expected it to be!

Have gone to 1000ms - I didn't consider those other events that might 'falsify' a true lean on load - good point.

Re: Errant(?) lean on load - anyone had this (ever)

Cheers - and no I'm not and I probably should be (is that revLimitLimp?) The only Engine Trip i have currently enabled is the Lean-on-Load Engine Trip - the logbook is indicating that was the limp reason. Interestingly I took it out for a run yesterday and no limp again (which is good but frustratin...

Re: Errant(?) lean on load - anyone had this (ever)

Log attached. Limp duration is set to 400ms Logbook shows last limp mode cause = "LEAN TRIP" ..bit confused here - I have slightly modified transient fuelling (positive decay) after experiencing this as I do note I have a rich followed by a lean spike after snapping the throttle open - but...

Re: Internal log memory log file management

Ah interesting - if its doing that then great! I confess I usually just clear all the logs after each download - I probably shouldn't do that.. After a bit more 'testing' what it does do is create a new log on every key cycle event - (poss ign off / ign on - not sure) - what I'm now wondering now is...

Internal log memory log file management

Does anyone know if its at all possible to alter how the S6+ manages log files within its internal memory - as we're limited to 1MB (unless streaming) - it'd be very nice to have some control over how and when log files were overwritten. I believe the current state after clearing down all logs is (a...
