Re: Output Testing.

Thanks Stevie, that seems so obvious now and it works. :)
Yeah you have to hold down or repeatedly press the + and - buttons to repeat the pulse.

Cheers,
Jezz.

Re: Output Testing.

Further to this I've just done some simple testing using a relay on an output (fuel10) If I use Input/Output testing to turn the state of fuel10 on and off nothing happens. If I assign fuel10 to a fan output and fiddle the switching temps I can switch the relay by toggling 'enable when engine stoppe...

Output Testing.

Hello, Today I tried to use the output testing feature to test my ignition and injector outputs; though with no success. Both base states are set to off, and I set a IGN pulse of 3ms and INJ of 5ms; then used + and - to send requests in the relevant pulse request section; but nothing appears to happ...

Re: Output pin names, have they changed?

Thanks Pat for confirming the output names, and also for the detailed explanation of the injector current draw.

Cheers,
Jezz.

Re: Output pin names, have they changed?

That's great, thanks for confirming.
I'll update my docs.

I'd expect the injector current draw to increase at higher absolute fuel pressures, but not sure if it's linear or not.

Re: Output pin names, have they changed?

Thanks both. :) So I'm guessing that your fan was on PWM4 before, now on FUEL12, Stevie? I'm in the middle of assigning outputs and I'm just after clarification that this is how the pins have been renamed before something goes horribly wrong LOL. Can someone confirm that this is the new naming conve...

Output pin names, have they changed?

Hello, Have the AUX1-8 (PWM1-8) output been renamed FUEL 9-16 in later releases? Previous versions also gave the control board pin number alongside the output type and number, but in 1.69 I just see the output type and no control board number? Older version... outputs.JPG Latest 1.69 outputs.1.69.JP...

Re: Configurable Speed Output and maybe EHPS control?

Thanks Steve, was looking at using the Dakota Digital SGI-5, but it's a bit spendy and a not that easy to get hold of.
I'll order one of these today and see how it goes, it would still be nice to be able to use an ECU output.

Re: Configurable Speed Output and maybe EHPS control?

Bit of a delay in replying. I've had a look at using the diff strategy but it's PWM output (fixed frequency, variable duty) for my application I need an output where the frequency changes with speed a-la the tacho output, but using road speed rather than engine speed. I'm using the Toyota MR-...

Configurable Speed Output and maybe EHPS control?

Hello, I'm not sure what the demand for this would be but is it possible to have a configurable speed output, much like the Tacho Output, that would allow you to transpose the vehicle speed to a number of pulses per kph/mph? And perhaps less demand for this, but an output configurable to control ele...
