Re: ballast resistors

Or maybe pick up some resistor packs from an OEM car.

Some Mitsu Evo's use them, Toyota MR2 turbo, old Honda Civics and perhaps others

Re: Using fuel temp sensor to trigger a fan on a fuel cooler

While maybe awkward.

use the brake light output and configure the temp sensor to the relevant input ?

The numbers wont make sense, but it should function.

Or likewise Nitrous bottle heater function via Nitrous pressure input.

Re: Closed loop fuel pump setup

If I could I wouldn't bother using them as booster pumps, instead I would run them as primary pumps with varying duty. If you want to bring in a booster pump you can add an extra pump over a certain injector duty threshold. The point of using a controller is that you can do it seamlessly and the pu...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-AMP-60A-Dual-Motor-HBridge-Driver-Board-Reversible-PWM-Control-e-/261258109877 I put it in an aluminium box and screwed the FETS to the side to help heat dissipation, works a treat I run it at 10khz (output reflects input) and drive it 0-100% duty, I have used it with...

Re: Closed loop fuel pump setup

Can the H Bridge thingy be bought separately ? What sort of current can they handle ?

What sort of input does it take ? 0-100% PWM ?

I'd like to control either my main pump, or additional pumps via PWM, just never been able to find a suitable controller

Re: More water / meth injection

Aquamist offer a " Fast Acting Valve" and some nice nozzles with built in check valves that you can easily install in the intake, or wherever you like Although if using the FAV controlled via the ecu, no real need for the check valves So the ecu just turns the pump on initially, then water...

Re: new to all of this

Making an engine loom is not something that should be attempted by idiots. For everyone else, there's Ryan's manual on how to hook up most of it. i do have a hnd in electronics and am qualified to solder on polaris missiles, however it is my first engine loom and i'm pretty sure i am an idiot, what...
