Re: IGN outputs for led

That would make sense, TTL signal can be anything below 1v is off and anything above 3v is on, so there is a tolerance. I'm about to do some work on my car anyway and I have the ignition wires accessible for testing, I'll throw some leds on and see how they fair up, maybe without resistors they will...

Re: IGN outputs for led

I already have a shift light I just want 2 stages, and I have a knock warning light also (just getting everything out of my ecu haha) I did try using the ignition output to trigger my solid state relay for my fuel pump as that is supposed to trigger at 3.5v but it didn't work, I'll connect some leds...

Re: IGN outputs for led

Ohhh that's making more sense, I actually thought it was normally 0v and put out +5 when it switched as it is a TTL output so I assumed it generated a square wave switching between 0v and 5v (I'm no electronics expert haha) So I assumed you would take the output to the led and ground the other side....

Re: IGN outputs for led

The ignition outputs are 5v outputs unless you open the ecu up and change the jumper which I don't want to do.

And I already have leds and resistors.

I just want to be on the safe side so I don't fry those outputs

IGN outputs for led

Hi I am running low on outputs so was going to use my 2 spare ignition outputs of my s6 for leds as shift lights. Pat says no more than 40ma draw on these outputs If I use white leds with 470 ohm resistors they should pull 6ma each on the 5v output. Does that sound OK? Also is there any short circui...

Re: Gear Blip Settings Info

I have mine setup fully now, with the wiring as shown but using a relay on the brake pedal light switch, the ecu does see a false gear blip request when pressing the clutch due to the open circuit between contacts, using a relay off a clutch pedal switch might solve this as the relay will have a muc...

Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

Well I would say the same about the Syvecs tuners I listed previously

But all that aside, it would be worth paying someone Syvecs related to remote setup the car and workout the bugs, then have your tuner map it if that's what you are comfortable with

Re: Configuring Rolling Anti Lag

Mine is configured in the ALS by retarding timing during full throttle only and applying fuel cuts. If you use a speed limiter I think that would restrict your use. Mine works in any gear at any speed over 4500rpm Als cal one is activated when cal overide switch is on, which most people have a butto...

Re: 996 turbo fuel map??

As above, I bought my Syvecs and had issues getting the car started, Ryan G got it started and setup to drive to their dyno remotely. I have known Ryan for many years previously however he and all the Syvecs team are there to help and are extremely helpful! Romain from Racecal will also assist you r...
