Re: NTK L2H2 vs. LC-1 w/ LSU 7200 differences
Mark, Yes everything is sorted now. The LATER NTK sensors supplied by Syvecs (Charlie) need a different linearisation than the earlier ones. After setting up the new linearisation which should apply to probably all sensors from 2011+ gotten from Charlie it works a charm. All credit however goes to R...

Re: Knock Frequency
Mark, From what I have read about the "2nd harmonic" approach is that it has nothing to do with the sensors since they are wideband sensors anyways. The METHOD of measurement is what is different. The reason some manufacturers went to listen to the 2nd harmonic to trace knock was due to th...

Basic Knock parameters
I've used Firmware v1.20 in the past and I was happy to be able to log Knock Thresholds, Knock ignition retards, Knock Free Cycles and Knock values. However now with the newer v1.23 firmware these items have disappeared and I can now only log Knock values and Knock ignition retards. I would like to ...

Re: closed loop lambda problem
Hi Ashley,
Are you sure you are applying the CL Fuel to the same BANK as your Cylinders are assigned to?? Otherwise it won't work. EG. When your cylinders 1 to 4 are assigned to Bank 1 you must apply the CL Fuel to Bank 1 as well.
Jasper.

Re: Injection End Angle
So far I have been reading different things: - Some people seem to say to tune the end angle to get the richest AFR at a certain RPM point with the same amount of Injector MS. (read amount of fuel) being injected. The theory seems to make sense as the same amount of injected fuel would use up the mo...

3D Injection End Angle settings
Hi there, I believe it would perhaps be beneficial to have 3D mapping of the Injection End Angle due to the vastly different requirement at the same REVs based on MAP. I noticed that on my buddies HKS F con V Pro there is a 3D setting available for this where you can input End Angle based on RPM and...

Injection End Angle
All, I have had Tip-In issues from the beginning and no matter how I changed the Transient Fueling properties it always felt hesitant on blips from Idle. I noticed that my Injection End Angle was set to 540 degr. as that was in the basemap from the start and I didn't fiddle with it. Afterwards I got...

Re: Cal Switch settings
Hi Tim, My CalswitchV are: 0.015 - 0.59 - 1.163 - 1.718 - 2.251 - 2.763 - 3.253 - 3.727 So according to these values the settings should work properly. Paul, You might be on the right track here. It DOES make sense now that I think of it that the device should be programmed first before Cal. switch ...

Re: Cal Switch settings
I have tinkered around with the settings again and I still cannot get all the positions to show correctly..... I have checked the Voltage of the CAL.SW at each position and put the thresholds RIGHT in the middle as also recommended by Pat. Same happened as before. Cal01, 02, 03, 04, 05 are fine. How...
