PWM Frequency - 3000hz
</clip>
At least - driving frequency setting is way too high, if Toyota specs for the idle/auxiliary air valve are not known, try values between 30-100 Hz. Stepping sequence and hold power delay might be worth to verify also.

Re: AFR oscillations at idle that stabalise when fans turn on
I am also sceptical of IDs published lag times for their injectors, also be aware they will change with fuel pressure. Sure the latency varies as a function of fuel pressure and also injector driving - voltage when opened and back-emf voltage when closed - affects it's opening and closing character...

Re: 3-pin idle valve configuration?
No, not right away. One needs to define polarity (likewise frequency and other parameters) of these signals. Those (signal polarity etc. 'matters') are defined in 'Throttle Bypass Control', 'Idle Control' and 'Idle Stepper Control' menus.

Re: 3-pin idle valve configuration?
Sure - it is - from; 'Calibration' -> 'IO Configuration' -> 'Pin Assignments' -> B) Outputs : Idle Speed Control 1 to 4. fex. double coil Bosch air valve driving. Idle Speed Control 1 -> set to PWM1 : CTL-10 Idle Speed Control 2 -> set to PWM2 : CTL-12 Single, spring return solenoid, double coil sol...

Yes, indeed - i just 'stared and counted those wider ones', so didn't notice.

Caveat emptor - for example, there is 16 fuel injectors in list, but 14 in location map.

Re: How to wire AVCS actuator?
It depends, in terms of the signal polarity. You can test the polarity, with steel bit which is ferromagnetic. Moving bit towards the sensor head area, if voltage goes to positive side and then negative side when moving steel away from sensor head area = correct polarity. Polarity is switched, if vo...

Re: Secondary Load Time Blend
What kind of air valve, the system is equipped? Maybe valve control parameters needs to adjust - as you mentioned that AFR changes. Additonal air volume needed through the idle valve is quite small - as the engine is running almost without load - internal friction, alternator load etc. are quite sma...

Re: More accurate charge temp estimation (like Autronic)
Yes, but it greatly depends - mostly injection timing , injector size and positioning. Smaller injectors need relatively long injection time, thus reversion and induction resonances affect 'spitting injected fuel back and fort'. Larger injectors open more possibilities to time injection, so that air...
