CAN bus as inputs

Is it possible to drive inputs to the S6 Plus through CAN bus frame values? For example if I wanted to drive Engine Load (for idle up), or GPS position and G sensors into the S6 via CAN bus. I am able to send out the data I need and customer the CAN payload from another device, I just want to make t...

Re: RevCutActive for no obvious reason

No rev reduction is set on any of the cals. Rev cut was set to 8450 and rev limit set to 8000. When I set all limits to 20000, so RevCut, RevLimit, all limp mode RevLimits, then the problem went away and I was able to continue mapping on the dyno. I'm going to re-introduce the rev limit and then the...

Re: RevCutActive for no obvious reason

Understood, I was a little flustered earlier as I was on the dyno.

Here is a log of the event.

Re: RevCutActive for no obvious reason

I've increase my rev limit on everything to 20000 and it's fixed the issue.

Any ideas what's going on

RevCutActive for no obvious reason

I'm mapping my car and hitting what has the symptoms of a rev cut at high RPM. But before the rev limit. I'm not seeing anything untoward in the logs, no limp mode, no trips and its staying in 720 sync. But the logs do show revCutActive coming on and off repeatably after 5000 rpm. The logs show that...

Re: Slave Vs Fuel outputs

That makes sense, might be worth experimenting with adding a flyback diode to the fuel output to see if it then works better.

Slave Vs Fuel outputs

I have been struggling to control the VVT solenoids well on my 2GR-FE engine. They have been hooked up to fuel outputs, and I managed to find a PWM frequency that gave the most stable movement (240Hz) but the dynamic range was only between 70 and 90 % duty (So it only moved the solenoid between 70 a...

Re: 2GR-FE Cam Triggering Help Required

I don't have enough Bipolar inputs unfortunately as I have four Cam sensors and a Crank sensor to cater for, not to mention ABS sensor etc...

So I'll just add the pullup resistors, no big deal.

Thanks again for your help.

Re: 2GR-FE Cam Triggering Help Required

Regarding the use of RawCam gauge, I did this following Pat's procedure Just to get the angles to use in the Manual Cam Checklist. But when it wasn't producing any values, that clued me in to think that the ECU wasn't able to trigger on the signal levels I was providing.

Re: 2GR-FE Cam Triggering Help Required

Hey Stevie, I really appreciate all the support and you have absolutely helped me get up and running. I believe because I am using a voltage input for the cam signal (as apposed to a bipolar input), the ECU is using some predefined threshold for triggering and the voltage range my sensor was produci...
