Re: EJ20K / SPEC C WIRING

Your AVCS sensors are wired with reversed polarity, that is the issue.

Re: EJ20K / SPEC C WIRING

So first of all you can add vvt parameters to your logging config. Log the vvt abgle for left and right, log the errors and the duty and 10hz will be plenty. All you need is one quick log of the vvt sensors from startup, then remove the vvt voltages from the logging, do you have any screenshots of s...

Re: S6 traction control on r33 gtr

I would just tap into one front wheel speed sensor and try both the launch hold timer and the front wheel speed as inputs for Launch RPM limit. Yes you can control the 4wd directly from the syvecs. Use the Attessa to control the pump and maintain the pressure. Use the syvecs to control the PWM valve...

Re: S6 traction control on r33 gtr

Launch control will usually run out to the end of 1st gear. 2nd gear onwards will definitely be TC related but for TC to work you need a rear wheel sensor (or two) to measure the drive wheel speed and while you can compare that against GPS speed from the Syvecs GPS box it't not fast enough from a st...

Re: GROUND Issue?

Your ignition timing is swinging due to idle control.

You probably do have a ground issue though. Make sure all the main grounds on the SYvecs end up on the many wires that go to the ground eyelet on the inlet manifold on the factory engine loom.

Re: S6 traction control on r33 gtr

If it's only launch then TC is not the best way to do it, that's not what it's designed for. If you always want the perfect launch then you will always have some messing about to do. TC typically is used after launch control has been exited. You're simplest route is tap into 1 wheel speed sensor on ...

Re: FP TRIP - low pressure

I think you have 2-3 problems I believe partly the problem is caused by running 2x bosch 044 pumps at idle where you are trying to set the fuel pressure at 4 bar. At idle there is not enough flow in one FPR to regulate the pressure when 2x044 pumps are running. This means that you set your pressure ...

Re: S6 traction control on r33 gtr

You can get away with just one front and one rear, especially if the rear diff is quite tight. But really if you want TC for circuit use then all 4 is preferred as you can average speed across an axle. If it's for drag use and launch only, then only one front wheel speed is required as you regulate ...

Re: S6 traction control on r33 gtr

No the GPS is not the way to go on an R33 gtr. You only need one good speed input to get launch working to a good level using the Launch hold timer. If you have a very rwd bias car then front and rear speed sensors are an option, the GTR ABS sensors are bipolar and you will have 4 spare inputs on th...

Re: EJ20K / SPEC C WIRING

I would guess you're VVT sensor polarity is wrong which will put an offset in the angles. You need to log the voltage at 1000hz and check the wave form.

You also need to test the latch angles with the VVT disabled (set vvt enable rpm very high).

Post your cal.
