Re: Torque Estimation
Based on this help vid, it seems like the parameter you want is engTrqEstOutputTrans?

Fuel temperature from flex fuel sensor
Hi
The ability to read fuel temperature from a flex fuel sensor would be great, and would save an extra input, in cases where fuel temperature is required.
Thanks

Or switch to Evans waterless coolant. With it's extremely high boiling point, it doesn't build any pressure. During endurance races we can open the cap during a pitstop, no boiling over, no pressure in the pipes.

To log without the engine running, put the start engine speed and stop engine speed both to 0.

Re: S6 canbus dataset
Ok, I've installed the software and have no idea how to get the dataset that is in this file. This is by far the strangest ECU tuning software i've ever seen. Could you help me out? We need TPS and RPM. Oh, you should try ECT, Vision 4, LetRipp, and some others ;) Connect the ECU to the laptop, loa...

Re: s8 tfsi engine jerky
I was just having a look at the log, and when the lean spikes occur, the Knock logging gets triggered, although it doesn't show any cylinders being cut. However, knock control seems to be retarding the ignition.

You can use practically any throttle body. The Chevrolet LS2/LS7 90mm and Bosch 80mm (Chrysler hemi?) units are popular.

Re: Impreza trouble starting
Argh.
It is just a matter of raising and lowering that preliminary injection in steps, until the starting is crisp. Unfortunately you have to wait some minutes between starts, to see the effect.
Still not sure what is causing that intermittent bad start you still have at some temperatures.
