Scal Question
When you are in Scal and for example in Run-Mode Fuelling/Base Injection 4 and you press SHIFT+F2 or F3, etc and you see a green circle with a number enclosed, next to the map. What is that number representing in the green circle and how can I go back to not seeing it? I came across while experiment...

Re: NTK L2H2 reading rich, Limp Mode, Fan
Today I made a jig to mount two lambda sensors and introduced some gas and perfected the linerisation, had to leave car idling thou... What I know about the PLX is that it matches the AEM very closely about 0.02 Lambda, and also my L2H2 was showing very rich compared to them about 0.1 lamda less. Th...

Re: NTK L2H2 reading rich, Limp Mode, Fan
Yes under Output functions/Lambda Heaters/Drive voltage all set to 10.7v and in I/O outputs Lambda heater 1 set to Fuel #13. Ok will start with L1H1 but can i adjust it with engine off as i think Heater will be off on RunMode STOP? No I havent looked at the sensor warning menus, how do i find it und...

NTK L2H2 reading rich, Limp Mode, Fan
Hi, Today I tried some tuning and from start to finish I have LimpMode showing Sensor Warning Level. How can I find which sensor is? Also I loaded the N2H2 calibration but it is showing way to rich, infact I had to use my PLX to tune it, its nearly 0.1 Lambda out that is PLX showing 0.9 and NTK show...

Re: Honda K series Crank & Cam Type
Yes last time is was set to off, so will turn it back on and if any error comes up, tweak from there....great, good to know and also tommorow will check voltage at CDI and see from there.
Thanks alot for your help, Paul

Re: Honda K series Crank & Cam Type
If thats the case than i will tweak the wiring with the resistors and switch to TTL output and re-do the timing, I dont want to play with luck. I will eventually need the CDI as the engine very soon will be on 100% ethanol and will see lots of boost :)) I dont know what you meant Paul by this, can y...

Re: Honda K series Crank & Cam Type
All solved Paul good job .....just set the M&W jumper to rising edge and timing went steady. So normal setting for the S8 is rising edge and TTL is falling edge than.
Now I have some small issues but will write on another new topic.
Thanks again.

Thanks

Re: Honda K series Crank & Cam Type
Ahh on ecu side....ok then.
The M&W is as per instruction to Falling Edge no jumper wire. If you connect Trigger edge to signal ground it will be rising edge, i have not jumpered them.
