More accurate charge temp estimation (like Autronic)
I would like to see a table like Autronic, for more accurate estimation of charge temp. When having low charge velocity, the effective charge temp is close to ECT in stead of ACT. After mapping the fueling nicely to the desired value at low load/RPM and leave the car idling for a bit of time and let...

Re: How to wire AVCS actuator?
Thanks Pat,
I need to look which output to take, as the car has standard MY99 inlet manifold and idle control...
Can you give me any part no. for the Diodes you recommend?
Thanks again,
Mark.

O.K. Thanks. The 30 deg ATDC is that adjustable limit?

Re: ALS, Gear Cut/Blip, Launch Control
Hi Jasper,
Can you shine a light on what you did? (I am mainly interested in the ALS function) More retard?
Cheers,
Mark.

How to wire AVCS actuator?
How to wire the AVCS actuators? In a stock AVCS equiped car, both wires come from the ECU, but I need to know how to wire the AVCS actuators with a MY99 S6PNP. The control wire (PWM?) is clear to me, but the other wire... Is it 12V+? Is it 5V+? It's not direct battery voltage I assume, as in the sto...

Re: ALS, Gear Cut/Blip, Launch Control
Hi there, I have finally come around to start doing some more testing with several features. I have started with Launch Control. At first there was no Clutch switch signal so I told the ECU the clutch was active LOW just to get it to go into LC mode and do some tests. After I wired in the Clutch si...

Re: Knock Frequency
O.K. From what I've read on the Link website it appears to me that the sensors are "tuned" for the 2nd harmonic and that's what has the highest amplitude when knock occurs. I will record some knock and analyse when I find some time.

Knock Frequency
I have read that quite a few car manufactors have changed their "normal" knock sensors to "2nd harmonic tuned" knock sensors lately. Those later type of knock sensors do need different settings. (double of the "normal" knock frequency) Does anyone know what Subaru is us...
