Re: FP-Limp at 1.5 bar / 6000rpm

Putting a hole in the ignition map is not the way to prevent stalling on syvecs, since the idle strategy has a proportional ignition correction for idle error, and a general idle ignition compensation to reduce the advance when in idle (which is temperature and run time depenedant). So removing the ...

Exactly. Remember to twist your CANbus wires.

Re: Problems connecting Expander.

You cannot connect anything else to the canbus when using the expander. The expander communicates using a propriety protocol at 1.3Mhz whereas high speed CAN buses are usually limited to 1Mhz (1.3Mbit and 1Mbit respectively). You should find however that the expander has a second CAN bus which can b...

Re: OIL Temp Indication Issue

In the custom can setup, the slot in the frame which the AIM dash is expect oil temp, your cal is actually configured to send EGT1 or EGT2 or EGTMAX.

You should be able to change the data in the relevant slot and all will be well.

Re: Revcut activates 500 rpm sooner

Log TrRpm at high speed and you will see the RPM will be momentarily above the rev cut limit.

As Steve says, set the speed measurement to average and you should be fine.

Re: Cal version change ?

You will need to be online for some operations.

Have you run the firmware exe first? If you've done that the profile for 1.57 should be stored locally.

Cheers

Re: EJ20K / SPEC C WIRING

I think you will be fine. Essentialy the latch point is the angle at which the ECU will check for a VVT event. The latch angle offset, is the angle the crank will have been at when that event was picked up with no cam advance. From comparing the actual crank angle with the "normal" crank a...

Re: BW turbo speed sensor settings?

Do you have a log showing the sensor output?

I presume you are using a thermistor input, 1v low threshold, 4v high thresholds, 1 tooth per reading and the scaling will depend on the number of blades on the wheel being read per revolution, and the number of pulses the sensor spits out.

Re: GROUND Issue?

It's defaulting the sensor due to not seeing a high enough temp on the EGT quickly enough after starting. Look in the sensor menu for EGT and lower the threshold temp and/or increase the time period it will wait before checking.

Re: EJ20K / SPEC C WIRING

no it doesn't that's a seperate issue! But you should swap the polarity, then disable the VVT (raise enable rpm) then re-measure the vvtRaw values (add then to a log temporarily or just add gauges at 1-2hz so they spit out the values) and then redo you latch offsets. If you're really keen you can se...
