Good point, from the post I was assuming that the sync log had been brought up and no signals seen.
So what's really happening? Is it no actual change in voltage seen? Or is the ECU getting voltage signals and the ECU isn't properly configured to turn that into a crank trigger setup?

Re: S8 crank sensor isssues
You have presumably done something wrong! Have you checked the IO config to ensure that you are connected to the correct inputs? I would suggest you open up gauges showing a trace of all the inputs (makes them easy to see) and see and check all the inputs. What about your other inputs? Have you succ...

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
Have you tried setting the threshold to +2?
I would imagine that for lat G it uses (or should do) and absolute figure otherwise it would ignore corners in one direction only, so I would go with a positive number.

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
The brake pressure warning is basically advising that you use 2 sensors (ie front and rear, or front and brake light switch) to ensure that there is some redundancy in brake sensing so the ECU can be sure that the cruise control is disabled in the event of the brakes being used. I assume you've read...

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
You should confirm that you are getting 4x wheelspeeds and brake pressure with NO sensors configured in the IO config. If you configure a physical sensor in the IO config it will override anything that's coming in on CANBUS. Do you have any ABS lights present on the car? The latest JDM hatches will ...

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
The rest of the control can be done with a single ecu input, 3 switches (up/set, down and cancel) and a resistor network.

Re: Cruise control for Subaru Hatch S6GP PnP
I can save you both a lot of grief.
Front brake pressure comes in on canbus through the can bridge. There is no need to put any further sensor or switch on the car.

Re: Just basic wiring help!
All correct.
You can assign a single ignition output to multiple cylinders for wasted spark. S6 will need an amplifier to drive non amplified coils.

Re: s6gp issue
On cranking the falling edge of the cam sensor is one side of a crank edge, (just before) once it fires it drifts to after the falling edge, causing the issue. The cam tooth ideally needs to be halfway between 2 crank teeth, I would guess that something has changed, and it only needs to be a very sm...

Re: s6gp issue
Your sync log is normal.
There may be some tweaks that will prevent it dropping out of sync (min gap width and trigger levels).
